It has been so rainy this summer, our trips to the playground and our walks have been limited. Out of complete, not unfamiliar to all you moms I’m sure, desperation, last week I turned to the old search engine for toddler crafts.
This baking soda trick really did do the trick! I’m not kidding when I say that for a solid hour, he sat there putting the “caw-wers” in the “sizzle.” A solid hour! He didn’t even try to wash all 800 of his matchbox cars while I dared the dishes. He sat there going, “It sizzle, Mommy!”
It’s simple. Put some baking soda in a pan. Put some white vinegar in an ice cube tray and mix in a few drops of food coloring. Hand the cuties an old dropper and enjoy doing your dishes, too!
I cannot remember the blog where I found this idea. But, if it was you, thank you so much for sharing!
